For Reviewers

The procedure of reviewing manuscripts in MECHANIK monthly is provided in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education described in an elaboration "Good practices in reviewing procedures in science", Warsaw 2011.

Submitted publications are subject to initial review by the editorial staff. If the article does not match the profile of the MECHANIK magazine or if it does not meet the requirements contained in the Guidelines for Authors, it is sent back to the authors.

After qualifying the article as compatible with the profile of the journal and after giving it a registration number, it is sent to two reviewers. Selected reviewers are specialists in a given subject matter. Reviewers are affiliated with other institutions than the one in which the author is employed.
The review is provided in the "double-blind review process" system.  The review is prepared on the "Review Form" (available below).
